Mercure Samarinda

The hotel was opened in 2020 and as a branded hotel, meets international standards. Food is excellent; breakfast has a wide selection of fruits, fresh juices, cereals, live hot station and good variety of hot meals, teas and coffees. The a la carte menu is comprehensive with choices of International, Indonesian and Chinese cuisines all reasonably priced.

Breakfast was very good, many, many choices. Dinner was exceptional. We met the Manager, who sat and chatted with us for a while. Very nice fellow who also invited a member of the staff to join us and talk about our travel plans to her home town...

Great location with very welcoming staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Samarinda.

Pillow feels a bit hard. Seems the cover is too tight that makes the pillow congested inside. During our stay, there was renovation activity. A bit annoying during our relax time. Food ia very good. Overall the experience is good...nope...it's very good.
